Xanthostemon chrysanthus 'Little Goldie'

DESCRIPTION: Golden yellow fluffy flower clusters cover this litle feature shrub in spring-summer, and attract native birds and nectar feeding insects. Bronze coloured new leaf growth for extra seasonal interest
USE IN: Native gardens as a feature or large containers for a sunny patio setting. Also suited to informal low hedging close to the home as the roots are non invasive.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun position in well drained soil for best flower display. Tolerates cooler climates but will develop more slowly. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Prune after flowering to encourage heavier flowering and more dense growth habit. Apply a slow release native fertiliser following pruning. Tolerates dry conditions once established. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: to 1m x 1m.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
