Aromatic lowgrowing herb that does both - adds colour to sunny dry spots in the garden; and if you pick it before it flowers, adds rich flavour to your cooking. Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects. These are easy-to grow seed mats - just place on the soil surface, water and wait!
DESCRIPTION: Low-growing, tiny-leaved Mediterranean herb with aromatic scent and flavour, and small pink-white flowers. PLANTING: Sow direct outside all year round, or in containers in the winter in frosty areas. Cover seed to 5mm. Seeds are embedded in biodegradable ready-to-use seed mats shaped to fit pots; place on the soil surface and water in. CARE: Water your seedlings while they are young to help them establish. Mature plants will develop stronger flavour with less watering. Needs full sun and good drainage to grow best. Ideal to grow between patio paving to soften edges.
