USE FOR: Attractive garden plant grown for its edible spicy-tangy roots used in cooking and medicine.
CLIMATE : Frost free. Doesn't like it very hot either, under 27C is perfect
PLANTING: Grows in cool shady stream beds and gently sloping water fields in the wild. Try planting in pots that you can move into shade, indoors, or to a cooler location as required. Neutral pH rich soil, well-draining but always moist to damp. Plants like to be about 30cm or so apart.
CARE: Grow in well drained soil, plenty of cool water, filtered or full shade. Can be successfully grown hydroponically. Harvest the roots after 2-3 years; harvest individual lower leaves as the plants grow.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 50cm H x 40-50cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
