Acacia howittii 'Honey Bun' - sticky wattle

APPEARANCE :  Evergreen native dwarf wattle with aromatic small oval leaves that grow with a slightly weeping bushy habit. Small pale gold pompom flowers in spring.
USE FOR : Low hedging, windbreak, informal hedging, feature shrub in native gardens. Great for pots and containers.
PLANTING: Plant in any soil in full sun or part shade. Will come through a light frost and is drought tolerant once established.
CARE :  Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks, and protect from frost while young. Responds well to pruning but this limits the plant's weeping habit. Apply a slow release native fertiliser to promote healthy leaf and flower in the next flowering season.
HEIGHT & WIDTH :  1.5m H x 1.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, young healthy plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
