This naturally-occurring rare hybrid is a low wide spreading form of native woollybush, and thrives in the sunshine, dry climate, and light free-draining sandy soils of its south-western Australian home. It will adapt to more humid summer climates though plants may be shorter-lived.
It makes a great wildlife shelter bush and the tiny flowers are rich in nectar for pollinators and small birds.
