We could almost put this silvery native into every category on the website, except indoor plants! Like one of those Leatherman tools or Swiss army knives, this rugged plant has a solution for every occasion. It's a hedge and a groundcover and a rockery plant; it's a cold-climate and a coastal and an outback desert plant; it grows in clay and lime and sandy soils; it's a practical wildlife shelter and a handsome foliage plant.
