Aeonium Big Bang has striking purple-black leaves that develop random variegated apple-green patterns. A real show-stopper for succulent gardens, and one for collectors of black plants to enjoy (we know you're out there!)
Aeonium arboreum 'Big Bang'

APPEARANCE: Aeoniums grow during winter in a tree-like fashion, developing multiple rosettes from branches that are attached to a main stem. Big Bang has black leaves that develop a green variegation in random patterns. Pups produced by Big Bang will not always develop variegation; any all-green ones should be removed if you want to maintain the dark colour.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a bright position with morning sun. Protect from hot afternoon sun as the foliage can become sunburned.
CARE: Water lightly during the growing months; feed bi-annually at the start of spring and autumn to maintain plant health
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  50cm H x 50cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on. You can see an example in the image gallery
