The hanging bell flowers of abutilon will add a party feeling to your garden or balcony. This variety has the softest palest peachy-pink flowers, like newborn baby cheeks. The plants will need protecting from frost, but otherwise they're pretty easy to look after.

Abutilon hybrid pink- Chinese lantern, flowering maple, Chinese bellflower
APPEARANCE : Evergreen, fast growing shrub related to hollyhock and mallow. Bell-shaped hanging pale pink flowers from spring to autumn, and soft pale leaves that look like those of maple trees.
USE FOR : Indoors, pots and containers, feature shrub, informal screening.
CLIMATE : Tolerates light overnight frosts and dry spells once established.
PLANTING : Plant in full sun to maximise flowering, will tolerate shade positions but will flower less. Happy in any well-draining light soil. Mulch and water on a regular basis, until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Clip to shape after flowering, if growing as a low hedge. Fertilise using a slow release fertiliser after flowering to encourage healthy growth. Prune hard in spring to promote new growth.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  2 - 3m H x 1 - 2m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
