Tall red daisies can fill your garden beds throughout the warmer months. Cosmos has lacy fine foliage that gives other plants room, making it an excellent choice for mixed borders. Cosmos love poor soil and flower their best in it. No need to prep the soil with compost or manure.

Cosmos bipinnatus 'Dazzler Red' or 'Versailles Red' - seed

APPEARANCE : Tall variety of this flowering annual with delicate fern-like foliage and flowers in deep pink-red.
PLANTING: Plant spring & summer in most states and winter in northern states of Australia. Sow seeds into seed raising mixture or direct into their final position, cover with a light layer of soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings if they become crowded & replant elsewhere. Plant in free draining soil in a full sun location for best flowering. Cosmos thrive in dry hot sites, ideal for mass planting in exposed garden beds.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established, follow with a good deep water weekly. For an extra long flowering season and healthy foliage remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser
