Not vibrant gold like Cuphea aurea, not all-over green like Cuphea mauve, Golden Ruby sits happily between the two, to give your garden beds a little hint of subtle colour without shouting about it.

It's got a gentle variegated wash of dark gold over its small leaves, and abundant little purple-pink flowers that butterflies love so much. The leaf colour deepens in winter with russet tones - as the image gallery shows.
