Description

Gaillardia x grandiflora 'Mesa™ Yellow' - blanket flower

APPEARANCE : Herbaceous perennial with slender green leaves and bright yellow daisy-like flowers, with a raised central yellow eye, through the warmer months. Winner of All-American Selection award and FleuroSelect Gold medal.
USE FOR : Mixed beds and borders, hot dry sunny places, cottage gardens, pots.
CLIMATE : Frost hardy, drought tolerant once established
PLANTING : Full sun, free-draining soil.
CARE: Mulch with organic matter and water until the plants are established, and in dry spells; feed during flowering. Regular removal of dead flowers will prolong flowering. May slow growth in hot midsummer.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30-40cm H x 50-60cm W
