Salvia madrensis "Golden Fountain'

DESCRIPTION: Herbaceous tall autumn-flowering perennial; larger soft leaves and warm yellow tubular flowers until first frosts. Attracts bird life, butterflies and bees to your garden.
USE IN: Cottage style gardens, mixed beds and borders, wildlife gardens, kitchen gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in sun to semi-shade position in the garden, in rich well-drained soil. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Water weekly in dry climates.
CARE: Clip over after flowering, to encourage fresh growth and a perhaps a repeat flowering. Cut it hard back in early spring. Fertilise in spring using a slow release fertiliser, give an extra boost during the summer heat using eco-seaweed. May come through a light frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  1-2m H x 1.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
