Native rainforest holly with clusters of vibrant crimson flowers and glossy evergreen foliage in the European hollyleaf shape. Grows to a neat hedge - a lovely privacy screen for a frost free garden.

APPEARANCE : Evergreen native large shrub with glossy deep green holly-shaped leaves, scarlet eremophila-like flowers late winter through to spring.
ORIGIN : NNative to lowland rainforests of Northern Queensland
USE FOR : Cottage gardens, under-story planting, evergreen screening and hedging, large containers
CLIMATE : Protect from frost.
PLANTING: Holly fuchsia thrives in moist well drained soil in partial shade. Plant in filtered sunlight, tolerates full sun if watered regularly. Mulch and water on a regular basis, until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE : Prune and fertilise using a slow release native fertiliser after flowering to encourage dense growth.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3-6 m H x 2-3 m W.
