Always a popular favourite with our customers. Bright red new foliage and glossy green mature leaves make a lovely hedge, shrub or specimen plant in any climate. Frost hardy. Clip to shape regularly for maximum colour. Work out how many plants you need for your hedge here
Photinia 'Red Robin'
APPEARANCE: Vibrant red new growth throughout the year. Produces small white flowers late spring.
USES: Perfect hedging plant with a dense growth habit. For best results plant 50 - 60 cm apart.
PLANTING: Plant in a sunny - partly shaded position in the garden, mulch well and water regularly until the plant is established. Tolerates mild frost once established. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser twice yearly.
CARE: Hardy and relatively low maintenance. Prune as required to promote new growth and maintain shape.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 - 2.5 m H x 1.5 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
