Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' - violin philodendron

APPEARANCE :  Rare, climbing Philodendron with deeply-lobed leaves, variable in shape and colour. Some are variegated, some are almost all cream, some are all green, some are different shades of green. Leaf colour will vary from plant to plant also and we cannot tell from a tubestock plant what the mature plant colouration will be.
USE IN:  Bred as a houseplant for indoor display and pots. Can be planted outside in a shady tropical border.
PLANTING:  Tropical and subtropical frost-free gardens, indoors in homes and workplaces. Paler plants will require more bright indirect light than all green ones. Plant away from areas where children and pets play as the leaves contain a poisonous substance. Avoid contact with skin.
CARE:  For best results provide plenty of bright, filtered light. Protect from cold and keep moist during dry periods. Philodendrons thrive in humid conditions, mist regularly. Apply a slow release fertiliser during spring. For indoor plants - wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth if you notice them collecting dust, this will refresh the foliage to its usual glossy finish. Re-pot container plants at the beginning of spring.

YOUR PLANTS:  These are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The potsize is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
