Pilea peperomioides - Chinese money plant

DESCRIPTION: Tropical fast-growing foliage plant originating from China, with large saucer-like leaves on long thin stems.
USES: Indoor plant, outside on a shaded patio, accent planting in tropical gardens. Ideal for terrariums and bottle gardens.
PLANTING: Needs steady temperatures over 10C. Plant in indirect sunlight or dappled shade. Prefers free-draining or a good quality potting mix. The plant will drop its leaves if unhappy with conditions.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and once established. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Apply a very diluted liquid feed every month for vibrant healthy foliage. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  30-50cm around
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
