Powdery blue flowers in abundance on a versatile plant. Shrub, hedge, climber, espaliered vine, trained rambler, topiary bush - this plant will make itself at home in almost any situation! Plumbago auriculata 'Blue'
DESCRIPTION: Evergreen shrub producing powdery blue flowers on glossy green foliage. Flowers from spring to summer.USE IN: Great clipped as a formal hedging plant or as a climber espaliered against a wall.
LOCATION: Prefers a full sun position and once established is drought tolerant. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter. Protect from frost.
CARE: Mulch and water well until established. Prune after flowering to encourage new growth and flowering. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser twice yearly.
