By popular demand, a dwarf native frangipani! The tree form can reach many metres high and wide in favourable conditions, which is a little large for tiny urban gardens and balcony spaces. Enter Gold Nugget - at best it will get to a metre around, perfect for pots as well as petite postage-stamp green spaces. And if you're lucky enough to have acreage, it makes a beautiful low hedge too.

Hymenosporum flavum 'Gold Nugget' - dwarf native frangipani

DESCRIPTION: Evergreen dwarf shrub with scented flowers similar to frangipani. Flowers open cream coloured and turn rich yellow as they mature. Australian native originates from NSW and QLD rainforests.
USE IN: Ideal planted as a feature shrub in subtropical gardens. Fast growing in rich well-watered soils. Can be grown in a pot indoors and outdoors.
LOCATION: Plant in full sun to partly shaded position, protect from wind and frost.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering to promote compact growth and flowering. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser after flowering for best results. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 75 cm H x 50 - 75 cm W.
