Oh that blue! So rare in the flower kingdom and so precious in our gardens. Drought tolerant, once full-grown should survive on rainfall alone in coastal gardens, with irrigation in outback sites. Will clump up to form a low wide shrub.

Salvia 'Marine Blue' aka Indigo Blue
DESCRIPTION: Shrubby wide and low perennial with woolly sage leaves, evergreen in frost-free gardens. Deep vivid blue flowers in warmer months (that's year-round in frost-free gardens) that attract beneficial insects.USE IN: Cottage style gardens, mixed beds and borders, wildlife gardens, kitchen gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden, in rich soil. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Water in very dry periods.
CARE: Clip over after flowering, to encourage fresh growth and repeat flowering. Fertilise in spring using a slow release fertiliser, give an extra boost during the summer heat using eco-seaweed. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 60 cm H x 60 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
