Salvia greggii Mirage™ 'Rose Bicolour' - Mexican sage
APPEARANCE: Compact flowering sage native to Texas and Mexico, with bright pink and white flowers spring to autumn.USE FOR : Cottage style gardens, mixed beds and borders, wildlife gardens, pots and tubs.
CLIMATE : Heat tolerant. Tolerant of overnight frost once established. Protect from hard frost and mulch in winter to keep soil warm or shelter under a cloche.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden, in light free-draining soil. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Cut back after flowering, to encourage fresh growth and more flowers. Fertilise in spring using a slow release fertiliser, give an extra boost during the summer heat using eco-seaweed.
