Native neat pretty ground cover with petite mauve and white flowers. Ideal lawn substitute in under-plantings beneath trees, and in shaded spots. Tuck it between pavers for a soft green pathway. Try it in hanging baskets and windowboxes
Viola hederacea - native violet
APPEARANCE: Spreading native groundcover with kidney shaped leaves and white viola shaped flowers with mauve centres.USE IN: Plant in rockeries as a groundcover. A beautiful addition to cottage gardens.
LOCATION: Plant in a sunny to shaded location in loose-free draining soil.
CARE: Provide plenty of water during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established and regularly in dry periods. Feed with liquid fertiliser monthly during spring and summer for lush coverage.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 5-15cm H x up to 2m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
