APPEARANCE: Low-growing trailing South African succulent that forms a carpet of spreading stems. Fleshy green leaves and small shiny daisy flowers cover the plant in full bloom; flowering from spring to winter. 'Candystone' flowers are bright lilac-pink.
USE FOR : Rockeries, pots, landscaping, groundcover, xeriscaping. Coastal and outback gardens, rooftop gardens, green living walls.
PLANTING : Hardy and drought tolerant once established. Cold hardy to -20C, reportedly. Does not like wet feet or moist rich soils. Plant in light free-draining soil in sun for maximum colour and compact shape.
CARE: Water lightly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Once established, water only when soil is dry. Keep it in a sunny position for at least part of the day.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.15m H x 0.3m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', shipped inside a plastic pot for protection. These are slightly smaller than our usual tubestock, with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
