Pretty palest pink flowers flushed and freckled with darker pink centres. Masses of flowers in spring. Needs a lime-free soil with plenty of organic matter. Happy in pots and containers, especially somewhere slightly shaded or with dappled light. One of our most popular azaleas.

APPEARANCE: Masses of pale pinkish white flowers, flushed with a dark pink throat and freckles. Medium sized in habit and flowering in spring.USE IN: Beautiful in groups as a mass display of flowering colour. Suitable for pots.
LOCATION: Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun. Alphonse Anderson is a "Sun Azalea" with high heat tolerance. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.4m H x 1m W.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
