Camellia sasanqua 'Weroona' aka 'Wahroonga'
APPEARANCE : Deep pink buds open into large white flowers with rose-pink margins, above glossy evergreen foliage. Sasanqua Camellias have smaller leaves and more dense foliage than the Japonica varieties. They are more sun tolerant, better in warmer climates, and earlier flowering.
USE FOR : Perfect for hedging, screening and feature planting.
CLIMATE : Protect from harsh afternoon sun and strong winds.
PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after flowering if needed, to promote dense growth habit and flowering. Fertilise using a slow release fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2.5 m H x 2 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
