Masses of small dusky musk pink flowers cover this small shrub in winter and spring. Only 1m tall, good for pots, containers, and bonsai. A 'Kurume type' azalea, a hardy all-rounder, Kirin is a favourite azalea for reliability and all round performance.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium evergreen shrub, beautiful and dainty, with lots of small, soft, single pink flowers in late spring.USES: Beautiful in groups as a mass display of flowering colour. Suitable for pots and topiary.
PLANTING: Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun. A full sun location may be ok but not too exposed, hot and dry. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
