Luminous cerise pink open flowers cover this compact evergreen shrub during spring and summer. Ideal container plant for patio settings and smaller gardens, very showy and eyecatching even at a distance.

Azalea kurume 'Only One Earth'APPEARANCE : Vibrant cerise semi-double blooms with gently ruffled edges, produced in abundance in spring and again in autumn in milder climates. Small-medium rounded evergreen shrub.
USE FOR : Very eyecatching in groups as hedges or a mass display of flowering colour. Suitable for pots.
CLIMATE : Will tolerate light frost once established.
PLANTING : Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun. Full sun is ok but not too exposed, hot and dry.
Plant in a moist free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Azaleas do not like drying out. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas
