Azalea indica 'Pride of Dorking'
DESCRIPTION: Attract beautiful butterflies to your garden with clusters of dark pink-red single blooms, flowers in late winter to early spring. Medium, upright growing, evergreen shrub.USES: Beautiful in groups as a mass display of flowering colour. Suitable for pots.
PLANTING: Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun. Pride of Dorking is a "Sun Azalea" with high heat tolerance. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm including the pot height of 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
