Neat lowgrowing bottlebrush with slender foliage. Masses of scarlet flowers that helpfully drop to the ground when finished, to allow the rust-red new leaves to shine in autumn and spring.

Callistemon viminalis Scarlet Flame™ CC19' PBR

DESCRIPTION: Very compact fine-leaf native Callistemon, bred from Captain Cook. New growth in autumn and spring is rust-red; bright red flowers are self-cleaning. Ozbreed variety.
USE IN: Screen, hedge or feature for smaller gardens and compact planting areas.
LOCATION: Full sun to part shade. Suits a wide variety of soils and tolerates drought and cold.
CARE:  Mulch with chunky mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Use slow release fertiliser in spring. Responds well to yearly clipping if required. Prune to shape 1 - 2 times a year after flowering for a tidy hedge or every 2 - 3 years for a natural shape.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 60 cm - 1.5 m H x 60 cm - 1 m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
