Beautiful camellia, pure white flowers, perfectly rounded and symmetrical, with a flush of pink at the tips, and pink buds.

Coco Chanel used camellia as her signature flower and the brand still is inspired by it today. This one is definitely runway-worthy.

Looks like a japonica but being a sasanqua is tolerant of warmer subtropical climates. Makes excellent screens and hedges as well as of course a feature shrub in pride of place. Stunning.

Camellia sasanqua 'Early Pearly'

DESCRIPTION: White small double blooms with the slightest flush of pink appear in early autumn-winter. The flowers have rounded petals and resemble the symmetrical japonica style rather than the more informal sasanqua camellia. Sasanqua Camellias have smaller leaves and denser foliage than their cousins the “Japonicas”.  They make a great display grouped together and are brilliant on their own.   Evergreen shrubs to 3m with beautiful displays of flowers in autumn and early winter.
USES: Screens, hedges, espaliers. Feature planting and mixed beds. Also happy in large pots.
PLANTING: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. Shelter from strong winds and exposed sites.  Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.  A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal added at the time of planting.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering and fertilise in Spring.  Plant in a soil which is medium to acidic. Avoid lime.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3m H x 2m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
