Abelia grandiflora Variegata
DESCRIPTION: Bright variegated foliage in shades of pink, white and green featuring clusters of tubular shaped, gently scented soft mauve-white flowers. Foliage darkens to green with age.
USE IN: Beautiful feature plant, well suited to rambling cottage gardens. Attracts butterflies. Tolerates dry periods once established. Frost tolerant.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Tolerates coastal conditions.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering, fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 1m H x 1m W, may trimmed for low hedging.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
