Cordyline fruticosa 'Chocolate Queen' DESCRIPTION: Evergreen foliage plant with broad variegated foliage in chocolate and cream with a hint of green. USES: Plant as a feature or combine with other cordyline varieties in contrasting shades for authentic tropical ambience. Suited to container planting. PLANTING: Plant in part shade-full sun in free draining soil. If planting in an exposed location, avoid the hot afternoon sun as it can cause leaf burn. Apply mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks until the plant is established. Provide additional water during extended dry periods.
