Quick Overview

Gorgeous ground cover, very low maintenance, will spread to 1.5m if unclipped, but only 50cm high. Burgundy purple foliage all year round and bright pink flowers in spring. Stunning mass planting or contrast in borders and rockeries.

Purple Pixie™ Loropetalum chinense 'PEACK' PBR
DESCRIPTION: Beautifully rich purple foliage on a dwarf variety with stunning displays of hot pink flowers during spring.
USE IN: Perfect for borders, rockeries and container planting. Stunning contrasting colour for any garden.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden. Tolerates frost and dry conditions once established.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Very low maintenance, prune lightly every 3 - 4 years to keep the plant below 30 cm, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30-50 cm H x 1.2-1.5m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
