DESCRIPTION: Tropical foliage plant featuring brilliant purple new foliage fading to green with purple trim as it matures.
USES: Ideal used in tropical garden settings and poolside planting as the roots are non-invasive and there is very little leaf drop. Plant with other cordyline varieties in contrasting shades for a lush tropical look. Suited to container planting.
PLANTING: Plant in a shaded to partly shaded position in the garden in well drained soil. Mulch when planting and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Water regularly during dry periods. Cordylines are hardy and will tolerate periods of sun although they prefer filtered light. Protect from frost.
CARE: Remove dead foliage and cut back in spring if they get tall. Cutting all foliage off is fine as the plant will regrow from the stem.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5m H x 1m W. YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
