Super-showy in flower, when scarlet bud-caps fall and the buds open into big vivid yellow floffy flowers covering the tree. So much so, that the weight of the flowers can bend the branches!

It's drought resistant and a small enough size for most gardens - especially worth finding a place for if you love local wildlife as the nectar rich blossoms are a favourite of bees and butterflies and brds.
