Fittonia Pink - snakeskin plant
Fittonia 'Pink' - snakeskin plant
APPEARANCE: Tiny indoor foliage plant with bright contrasting leaf patterning which develops as the plant grows, pink with white and yellow overlaid, and green edges to the rippled leaves. Lowgrowing with a spreading habit.
USE FOR : Underplanting groundcover in subtropical gardens, indoors in pots and terrariums.
PLANTING : Plant in indirect or filtered sunlight to retain leaf colour. Prefers moisture-retaining soil or a good quality potting mix. Needs it 15C or above.
CARE : Water regularly during the first 12 weeks and regularly once established. Mist regularly if air humidity is low. Let it dry out a little between waterings; if it starts to wilt give it a good soak. Apply a slow release nitrogen-rich fertiliser every three months for vibrant healthy foliage. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 10cm H x 50cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, young healthy plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', shipped inside plastic pots for protection. They are slightly smaller than our usual tubestock, with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
