Ajuga tenorii 'Princess Nadia' - bugle

APPEARANCE : Compact small groundcover that grows in a neat mound of small grey-green leaves edged in cream, purple-pink at the tips where new growth appears. Spring-summer flowers in deep blue. A. tenorii is the Italian bugle, more compact and more heat resistant than A . repens.
USE FOR :  Mass planting, between pavers and under taller shrubs, containers and pots.
CLIMATE : Frost tolerant and more resilient to full sun than other bugles.
PLANTING : Plant in sun to shade in moist, well-draining humus-rich soil for best results. Pink leaf colour will be stronger out of full direct sun.
CARE : No pruning required. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Water regularly during dry periods. Apply a slow-release fertiliser during Spring
