Gerbera jamesonii - African daisy

DESCRIPTION: Cheery sun-loving daisy originating from southern Africa, in a mix of vibrant colours
PLANTING: Spring to early Summer. For best results sow seeds into seed raising mix, cover with a thin layer of soil and keep moist. At approx 6 weeks, plant in free draining soil in a full sun location. Take care to ensure the crown is above the level of the soil. Avoid planting in clay-boggy soil or very humid locations.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water during dry spells (morning is best). Remove spent flowers and apply liquid fertiliser regularly for prolific flowering and plant health.
