Pretty peaches-and-cream flowers that seem to appear all throughout the year, attracting honeyeaters and spinebills; and a tall fast-growing glossy green shrub when not in flower. Taller and more open than the similar Misty Pink, with larger flowers. Can be hard pruned or even coppiced if required.

Grevillea x banksii 'Pink Surprise'

APPEARANCE:  Large tree-shrub with peachy-pink brush flowers, pink in the centre with cream styles, above fast-growing large glossy green ferny foliage.
USE FOR: Native gardens and coastal planting. Attracts nectar feeding birds.
CLIMATE: Tolerates drought conditions once established. Happy in the humidity of our Sunshine Coast nursery
PLANTING: Plant in full sun to part shade for best flowering, in well drained soil. Apply mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established.
CARE: Prune after flowering to promote dense growth habit and prolific flowering. Can be hard pruned if needed. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevilleas can be phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: to 4m H x 3m W
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
