Like a freshly-squeezed glass of tangerine juice, this gorgeous grevillea glows clear orange-yellow, zesty and bright. It's low and wide, so plant it at the front of the border by a window, where you can watch the birds feed on the nectar all through the year.

Note : Our Tangerine Squeezes are grafted grevilleas, unlike most of our other varieties. Grafting joins the main plant to another, more robust or adaptable, rootstock. This means it will grow in a wider range of soil types. Read more here

Grevillea bipinnatifida x Grevillea pteridifolia 'Tangerine Squeeze'

APPEARANCE : Low wide grevillea with large yellow-orange flowers, rich in nectar, which appear intermittently through the year.
USE FOR :  Feature planting, wildlife gardens, native gardens.
CLIMATE: Tolerates dry periods once established. Frost tolerant once established
PLANTING: Plant in full sun for maximum flowering. Prefers free draining soil. Note : this is a grafted grevillea, unlike our other varieties. This means it will grow in a wider range of soil types. The tape securing the graft point is biodegradable and should dissolve by the time the graft is complete.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established. Prune after flowering to promote flowering, dense habit and control growth. Only needs a light annual prune to shape if required.  Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevilleas can be phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30-60cm H x 2m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
