Hardenbergia violacea 'Mystic Marvel'

DESCRIPTION: Evergreen native with bi-coloured pea flowers of purple and white in spring. A good climbing variety that doesn’t grow too rampant and can also be pruned to a shrubby habit or can even be a groundcover if there is nothing to climb.
USES:  Groundcover, climber, wildlife garden, cottage gardens. Can be grown in pots and containers.
PLANTING:  Plant in full sun for maximum flowering but can happily grow in part shade. Tolerates very light frosts. Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Regular pruning from when it is small will create a good habit, if left alone Hardenbergias can get top heavy. They are light and open climbers that can scramble though other plants. Reapply mulch and feed with a slow release native fertiliser during spring - Hardenbergia are phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  2 - 3.5 m H x 2 - 3.5 m W
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
