Hardenbergia violacea ‘Sea of Purple’ - purple coral pea, happy wanderer
APPEARANCE : Native to Australia, this Hardenbergia is a groundcover that produces masses of purple pea-sized flowers during spring and summer. .USES: Ground cover, low maintenance gardens, poolside, cottage style gardens, coastal areas. Beautiful feature plant or mass planted for maximum flowering effect. Dense growth great for supressing weeds
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden for maximum flowering period. Frost sensitive. Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Prune after flowering to encourage dense growth habit and continued flowering. Reapply mulch and feed with a slow release native fertiliser during spring - Hardenbergia are phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.2 - 0.8m H x 2 - 3m W. YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
