Vive la revolution! Fragrant French lavenders are a plant for the people - easy to care for, reliable landscaping plants, and can take the heat. They resist disease and drought, and flower for a long time on strong stems. 

We can't ship this product to Tasmania, Western Australia.

Lavandula dentata 'French Revolution' - French lavender

APPEARANCE : Fragrant shrub, with narrow grey-green foliage and dark purple long-stemmed flowers with short showy tufts. Highly aromatic variety
USE FOR : Perfect for cottage gardens and low hedging. Suited to rockeries and pots. Right at home in dry climates. Cut flowers may be dried and used in flower arrangements or potpourri.
CLIMATE : Heat and drought tolerant. Not as cold tolerant as English or French lavender but should survive light overnight frost once established.
PLANTING : Plant in full sun and free-draining soil. Avoid wet feet. Will tolerate lower light levels but flowering will be reduced.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Prune twice yearly (taking care to remove only 1/3 of the foliage while avoiding cutting into old wood) and fertilise yearly using a slow release fertiliser after flowering maintain compact growth.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH :  80cm H x 80cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
