Shape this native in formal gardens or leave to grow naturally for rustic cottage borders. Will tolerate temporary wet soil so try it alongside waterways. Watch the birds flock to feed on the nectar rich white flowers in spring-summer. Generally grows slightly taller than Snowstorm, but YMMV.

Description

Melaleuca linariifolia 'Snowflake'

DESCRIPTION: Compact native shrub featuring fine foliage and clusters of small cream-white fluffy-lacy flowers early summer through to autumn. Attracts native wildlife.
USE IN: Perfect used in native gardens as a low hedge or feature, shape as desired.
LOCATION: Tolerates most soil types and planting conditions, will even put up with occasional wet feet; Plant in full sun to encourage flowering. Frost tolerant.
CARE: Mulch and water well, prune after flowering to encourage compact growth habit.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5m H x 1.5 m W.
