Pigfaces or ice plants are a popular groundcover succulent for their tough waterwise capabilities and cottage-style garden looks. This big-flowered white ice-plant creates a shining display in full sun in spring and summer, to complement the most elegant of gardens.

Mesembryanthemum Alba - white pigface, ice plant
APPEARANCE: Low-growing carpet-forming succulent. Spreading stems covered with very slender fleshy leaves. Vibrant white daisy flowers, large for a mesembryanthemum, and with very shiny petals.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots, landscaping, groundcover, xeriscaping. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in free-draining soil in sun for maximum colour and compact shape.
CARE: Water until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Once established, water when soil is dry. Keep it in a sunny position for at least part of the day.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.3m H x 1.5m W.
