Ajuga reptans purpurea - purple leaf bugle
APPEARANCE : Hardy low-growing ground cover with green-purple foliage and violet-blue flower spikes. Dense spreading growth habit. Leaf colour changes through the seasons and with light levels.
USE FOR :  Mass planting, underplanting in shade or beneath trees, weed suppressing.
CLIMATE : Frost hardy. Likes shade
PLANTING : Plant in a partly shaded area of the garden. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Water regularly during dry periods.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 20 cm H x 30 cm W.
