Chrysanthemum carinatum 'Cockade' - seed

DESCRIPTION : Eyecatching white flowers with deep magenta centres surrounded by a distinctive ring. Long stems to 75cm tall. Makes a beautiful long-lasting cut flower which bees and butterflies enjoy.
SOWING : Sow spring and summer in most areas of Australia, may also be sown during winter along the east coast from South Sydney to northern Queensland. Sow seeds into pots of seed raising mixture or direct into their final position. Cover with a light layer of soil and keep moist. Germinates in 14-21 days
PLANTING : Thin seedlings if they become crowded and replant elsewhere. Plant in free draining soil in a full sun location for best flowering.
CARE : Water seedlings regularly until established, follow with a good deep water weekly and allow plants to dry out between watering. For an extra long flowering season and healthy foliage remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser bi-monthly. Flowers in 12-16 weeks from germination
