Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm'
DESCRIPTION: Bushy perennial with golden daisy flowers with a dark centre, flowering over a long late season. Flowers loved by beneficial pollinators, seedheads loved by birds. Makes a good cut flower for the home, and an attractive addition to a cottage style or naturalistic garden. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
PLANTING: Sow seeds in Spring-Summer directly into final position or in seed trays/pots, and keep moist. Don't cover the seeds with soil. Thin plants once they develop 2-4 leaves and are easily handled. Plant in free draining soil in a sunny location for best flowering. If planted early they will flower in the same year.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water especially during dry spells. Mulch plants to keep the shallow roots cool in summer. For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser
