Description

Senecio serpens - dwarf chalk sticks

APPEARANCE : Spreading groundcover succulent with silver-blue "fingers" and occasional yellow daisy-like flowers. If you like the flowers,or like pollinators, leave them; if not, snip them off. Very drought tolerant but will grow faster with regular watering.
USE FOR : Rockeries, pots, hanging baskets. Waterwise, firewise and xeriscape landscaping. High impact when mass planted.
PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position for best colour. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
CARE : Will only need seasonal maintenance to remove dead flower stalks.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : approx 15cm H x 60 - 90 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
