Syzygium australe 'Glasshouse Select' DESCRIPTION: Selected form of syzygium that is compact with tightly growing foliage and bronze coloured new growth. Great resistance to psyllids. Fast growing for instant results. Edible fruit. USE IN: Excellent for hedging, topiary, privacy screening. LOCATION: Tolerates most positions and conditions but would benefit with mulching and fertilising at the time of planting in a well drained soil. Ideal in full sun. Tough and will tolerate light frosts. CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune regularly to maintain encourage bushy, compact growth. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3-5m H x 2-3m W. YOUR PLANTS: These are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
