Acmena smithii 'Firescreen' PBR
APPEARANCE : Firescreen is an improved variety of Acmena which is fast growing and psyllid resistant; brilliant copper-red in new growth.USES: Perfect for hedges, screening and specimen planting. Suited to large containers and topiary.
PLANTING: Prefers a sunny spot in free draining soil. Protect from wind and salt spray. Tolerates frost and drought once established.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established. Prune as required to promote new growth and fertilise using a slow release native fertiliser in autumn and spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Clip to 1-2m H x 1 m W for a dense manageable hedge, or allow to reach its natural height of approx 4 metres for privacy screening.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
